My Wife and I have been separated for over two tears now, but not divorced. I recently tried to view my credit report, and i was asked questions that only I should know. The Questions were in reference to a Mortgage of some sort, in the state of Illinois. Well, Thats where my wife lives. Needless to say, I was unable to view my credit report, because I could not answer the questions. Is it possible that she took out a mortgage loan in both our names?

Not unless there were false ID’s involved and/or a crooked notary. If you’d like to check into it, talk to the county recorders office in the state of Illinois. You should be able to go to the local title company and pull title for a small fee in your own state. Or, you could call a good friend in the mortgage business and he/she could look up title for you. Anyway, good luck!

well if she did then sue her, but it should be on her credit report also, so you should be able to get copies of your
credit report, she should not have been able to access
your reports, and she would have had to forged your
      signature.

You NEED to review all three of your credit reports. If you can’t access them via the internet, request copies by mail. The credit bureau’s websites tell how to do that.
