Anyone out there that knows what to do if your mortgage loan interest is about to increase and the value is over $200K on the negative and one of the bread winner is now jobless, how do I save my home?

Get another job ASAP. Call your mortgage company and ask if you can make a interest only payment. If you can’t you can always sell the house or file a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. McDonalds is always hiring though. Do what you have to do.

Apply for unemployment and use your local career center and temp agencies to look for any available jobs. Apply for anything that will pay your bills, even if you might not particularly like it.

Borrow from family nobody will send you money that doesn’t know you. Tell the unemployed breadwinner to get a job. When you get past this figure out what an emergency fund is and get one.

try calling your local 211. if your particular situation meets their criteria they might be able to supplement with church donations and such. might at least get you a month, so you can get back to work.
